Sherry Lynn began painting in 1986 when she moved to Charlotte, NC. She took a beginners class at a local shop and went on to take classes with JoSonja, Heidi England, Helen Jeglic, Gayle Oram, Londi Rowley and more too numerous to list. Sherry Lynn began teaching in a local shop and then her home. She moved to Greenville, SC where she opened Tinker’s Cottage in 1991. The shop was the home to classes by Sherry Lynn and many national instructors. The shop also sold supplies, gifts and painted pieces. She closed the shop when her Father passed away and decided to move herself and her Mother back to the Tri-Cities area of Tennessee where she was a Real Estate Broker until last year.
During her painting career, she has had two books published, designed pattern packets, had pieces in several magazines, taught at national and regional conventions, and has done numerous craft shows. Currently she is designing again and working on some original painted pieces that will be available on the site.
Sherry Lynn loves to keep in touch with her painting friends and students so please feel free to send her an e-mail.
